Studio Hopwood is one of the UK’s most respected and successful interior design practices; Daniel is also the Past President of the British Institute of Interior Design and co-presenter of BBC2’s Great Interior Design Challenge.

With a growing studio and increasing portfolio of work, the aim of the new site was to effectively showcase their projects in a highly immersive experience; coupling elegant transitions with an intuitive user interface.

As part of the project Six refreshed their current brand identity, which included a new logotype, colour palette and photography.

‘We Occupy’ was founded by myself in 2003 under the name WIWP, and has since cultivated its own place within the art/design scene, earning great acclaim from artists, collectors and the creative press.

With the previous website reaching 10 years old, a complete refresh of the brand and digital presence was needed.

Project:  FULL SERVICE

L’Estrange London was founded in 2014 with the initial ambition to reimagine the hoodie as a signature piece for the discerning man’s wardrobe.

With plans to create an entire wardrobe that answers the unmet needs of the man on the move, they commissioned Six to redefine their brand identity across print and digital platforms.

Project:  WEBSITE 

Cat Garcia documented the working lives of Britain’s most creative talents to produce this series of quietly revelatory images. Featuring some of the most pioneering minds in the fields of art, photography, design, fashion, film and more, Our Time combines candid b&w and colour portraits with telling incidental details from the ordinary lives of extraordinary people.

The supporting website was built and developed around its own bespoke CMS, courtesy of Tudor Prisăcariu and is compatible with mobile devices.

Project:  EXHIBITION POSTER

“Elsewhere” was the latest solo exhibition by London based artist Von at London’s KK Outlet Gallery during May 2014. 

Four collaborative exhibition posters were created especially for the show as hand pulled screen prints in a strict edition of 20 by a group of international designers, including Hort, Non-Format, David Pearson and myself.

Superstudio is a flexible team of photographers, art directors, copy writers, graphic artists, designers and computer experts, combining a structured project planning and business approach with unbridled creativity.

The site was kept simple and intuitive, whilst the use of live resizing and other javascript/ajax elements gave the site a dynamic edge. It was built and developed around its own bespoke CMS and is compatible with mobile devices.

Client:  BIKE V DESIGN
Project:  NEWSPAPER 

The Bike V Design event at the Design Museum explored the way riders have developed the ‘humble’ bicycle to enhance and evolve their individual sports. Created to accompany the event, the publication took the form of a 370mm x 260mm Newspaper, covering anything from circus cycling to bike polo, BMXing to the Tweed Run. Participants included Charge, Singular, Condor, Brooks. Moulton, Tweed Run, 5th Floor and many more.

Printed by Newspaper Club and Taylor Bloxham, each bellyband was hand numbered in a limited run of 1000.

Project:  COLLECTOR’S BOX SETS

Having worked with Von on various projects over the past 4 years, we continued the aesthetic qualities established in the promotional mailer and website, to create a series of hand made limited edition box sets that would house 5 giclée prints of the artists choice. Each box series carries a different colourway or technique and was designed to allow the artist to individually sign and number each one with consistency.

This latest box set (No 5) sees a new a development in the Animal Series. After much studio experimentation over the past year this set sees Von’s delicate, geometric and often abstract deconstruction of the subject taken further with elements of collage and gestural brush marks.

Client:  KIRSCHNER
Project:  APPAREL

Kirschner is a cycling apparel brand hailing from Santa Catarina, Brazil. As brand guardians we art direct everything from promotional collateral to apparel design. This is Kirschner’s 2014 race kit titled “Campos”, which celebrates the beautiful mountain climbs in the city of ‘Campos do Jordao’ in São Paulo.

Victoria Ling is based in London and pre-dominantly shoots still life. Her aesthetic is clean and minimalist, with careful attention to detail, texture and colour.
